When Dhanraj brought home is bride Savitri, his mother, brothers and sisters were overjoyed.

Just when everybody was happy their joy was turned into sorrow when Karodi Mal came and demanded for his debts to be paid. What could they do? But, the new bride saved the day by giving away all her jewels. To the old mother, Savitri seemed to be a goddess. Her joy knew no bounds and her sudden death shocked everybody.

The house was drowned in sorrow but Savitri spared no pains to make it a happy hone once again. With love and hard work Dhanraj and Savitri looked after Asha, Chandar and Ketan.

Chandar fell in love with Chanda who was his classmate in college but the daughter of a very rich man. Soon with the blessings of Dhanraj & Savitri, Chanda came home as a bride. Unfortunately, she did not like the lifestyle of her new home and this was the beginning of the end. She was jealous of Asha and so she planned a very cunning game. Her first prey was Ketan, who had no choice to leave home. Asha's dreams were broken and she was determined to commit suicide. Chanda also drove Dhanraj & Savitri out of the house, on the roads where they had to beg to live their lives. Chanda went away to her parents house.

The happy home was torn to pieces and only ruins remained.

How could this happen to two kind hearted people?
What had been done - could it be undone?

See, for yourself - a heart touching social drama.
